Beulah Academy of Science FFA Hosts Successful Future Farmer Field Day with Hundreds in Attendance

The Beulah Academy of Science FFA Chapter recently held their first “Future Farmer Field Day” advocacy day program, with the goal of raising awareness about the various industries and types of agricultural production in the local area. Educator Allie Eubanks emphasized the importance of bringing attention to this important aspect of our community.

The event was attended by almost 200 students from Cordova Park Elementary, local homeschool cooperatives, and incoming fifth graders from eight different elementary schools. The day was filled with learning opportunities and interactive experiences for students to engage with the agricultural community.

Eubanks expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the event’s first year and invited attendees to participate again next year. Local vendors set up booths to spread awareness about agriculture, featuring organizations such as the Florida Forest Service, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, and local farmers.
