Dean Dunnagan from the College of Health Sciences to be Recognized on April 10th

The College of Health Sciences is hosting a recognition reception to honor Tim Dunnagan, who is stepping down as dean after 14 years of service. The event will take place on Wednesday, April 10 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Stueckle Sky Center’s Bronco Zone. During his tenure as the fifth dean of the college, Dunnagan achieved significant growth and expansion.

Under Dunnagan’s leadership, the college has nearly doubled in size and launched three doctoral programs. Various programs have also been created and expanded, including online offerings, a genetic counseling path, and multiple certificates designed for working professionals. Dunnagan established an advisory group comprised of current and retired CEOs and leaders in the healthcare industry to provide feedback and guidance on course development and major selection.

Joelle Powers, who has been the college’s senior associate dean for several years, has been appointed as Dunnagan’s successor. She will be the first female dean of the College of Health Sciences. To learn more about Dunnagan’s career and achievements, please visit the college’s website.
