UCI Health finalizes purchase of four Tenet hospitals

UCI Health, located in Orange, Calif., has recently finalized the acquisition of Tenet Healthcare’s Pacific Coast Network. This acquisition includes four hospitals in Southern California along with their outpatient locations. The purchase was completed for $975 million.

With this acquisition, UCI Health now has a total of 858 inpatient beds. This marks a significant expansion for UCI Health, as they continue to grow and enhance their healthcare services in the region. The four medical centers formerly owned by Tenet in Southern California – Fountain Valley Regional Hospital, Lakewood Regional Medical Center, Los Alamitos Medical Center, and Placentia-Linda Hospital – are now part of UCI Health.

This transition was confirmed in a news release from UCI Health that was issued on March 26. The addition of these hospitals will enable UCI Health to provide even more comprehensive healthcare services to the communities it serves.
